Espresso cup with playful exposure of the stoneware body on the cup and dish, and fine, incised glaze-inlay at the base of the cups. A dark green celadon glaze over yellow ochre slip partially covers a golden-brown clay body that flashes grey in places and shows random, dark flecks of iron-bearing basalt through the glaze. 

Reduction fired in a gas kiln.  Colour variation in the glaze and clay body will differ from piece to piece due to the nature of the making and firing process. Maker’s mark at the base.

Approx. 7.5cm x 5cm; 90ml
