Single handled Jar

A wide-neck jar with a single handle and high belly. Perfect for a generous bunch of flowers or as a stand-alone piece. Thrown in a grey-brown stoneware clay and glazed in a glassy blue celadon that flashes pale neutral with a blue melt on one side where the flame of the kiln has passed it.  

Reduction fired in a gas kiln.  Colour varies in the glaze and clay body throughout the piece due to the nature of the making and firing process.
